Parade Team Lead - 1 Year Term
Organize and administer the Pride Portland! Parade, including managing registrations, submitting permit applications, coordinating with the City of Portland's Parks & Recreation Department and Portland Police Department. Determine Parade line-up and staging. Works closely with the Festival Team Lead.
Accessibility Team Lead - 1 Year Term
Organize and oversee all accessibility initiatives for the Pride Portland Parade & Festival to ensure inclusivity for all attendees. Responsibilities include coordinating ASL interpreters, managing accessible seating areas, ensuring compliance with ADA regulations, and identifying accessibility improvements across parade and festival activities. Collaborate with the City of Portland to ensure accessible routes and facilities. Work closely with all team leads to integrate accessibility measures into event planning, ensuring a welcoming experience for individuals with disabilities.
Main Stage Team Assistant - 1 Year Term
Recruit performers for the main stage of the Pride Portland Festival, organize and create a team to administer the main stage during the Pride Portland Festival, and the Parade Stage during the Parade. This team may include a stage manager, stagehands, green room attendants, and other team members as determined by the Main Stage Committee, or the Steering Committee.
Accounting Assistant - 1 Year Term
The Accounting Assistant shall, in cooperation with the Treasurer, assure that the financial affairs of Pride Portland, including daily disbursements, collections, audits, and financial reviews, are properly maintained and executed. The Accounting Assistant shall help prepare financial statements and report to the Treasurer.
Secretary - 1 Year Term
Provide administrative and organizational support for Pride Portland to ensure efficient operations and communication. Responsibilities include scheduling and attending meetings, recording and distributing meeting minutes, managing email correspondence, and maintaining accurate records of all organizational activities.
